This privacy policy describes how ZoomLight Pro (“the app,” “we,” “us”) handles information when you install and use the application distributed through Google Play and related channels.
Summary
ZoomLight Pro is a magnifier and flashlight app for Android. Camera preview, zoom, torch, freeze, and capture features run on your device. We do not sell your personal information. The app does not use Internet permission, does not require an account, and does not include advertising or analytics SDKs in the current release. Photos you capture are saved to your device Camera roll (for example, DCIM/Camera) under your control.
Information the app processes
Depending on how you use the app, the following may be processed on your device:
- Camera frames for the live magnifier preview (rear camera).
- Photos you capture or save from a frozen frame, stored in your device gallery or media storage.
- App settings (such as keep-awake, reticle, haptics, and last zoom) stored locally on your phone.
We do not require you to create an account to use ZoomLight Pro.
Information we collect
We do not intentionally collect personal information such as your name, email address, or the contents of your camera images through the app itself.
The app does not include third-party advertising or analytics in the current release.
Optional communications
If you contact us by email (for example, at admin@thesoftwarebodega.com) or through our contact form, we receive the information you send (such as your email address and message content) so we can respond.
Permissions
ZoomLight Pro requests Camera access to provide the magnifier preview, torch (where available), focus, freeze, and capture features. Camera access is used only for those on-device features.
Third-party platforms
When you obtain the app through Google Play, Google may collect install, usage, diagnostics, and purchase-related information under Google’s privacy policy. That collection is governed by Google, not by us.
How we use information
We do not use your camera images or personal information for marketing profiles. Any support message you send is used only to provide support or improve the product based on your request.
Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell or rent personal information. We may disclose information only if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public. If you share a photo using your device’s share sheet or another app, that sharing is controlled by you and by the destination you choose.
Data retention
Captured photos remain on your device until you delete them. App settings remain on your device until you uninstall the app or clear app data. Support messages are retained only as long as needed for support and business records.
Security
Camera processing and saved photos stay on your device under your control. Use your device lock screen, OS privacy settings, and careful sharing practices to protect content you capture.
Children’s privacy
ZoomLight Pro is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices
- Grant or deny Camera permission in your device settings (the magnifier will not work without it).
- Delete captured photos from your gallery at any time.
- Clear app data or uninstall the app to remove local settings stored by the app.
- Contact us to ask questions about this policy.
International users
If you use the app outside the United States, processing occurs on your local device and, if you contact us, support communications may be handled in the United States.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
